History Of
Victoria Colts Junior Football Club
Victoria Colts J.F.C started back in season 1993/94, four guys named,  Barry England, George Hamlett, David Compton &
Eddie Carpenter, (pictured above formed) the club. The club was originally called Wallasey Rangers who played in the Wallaey Junior League.

At the end of the 93/94 season the four guys mentioned above were given the oppertunity to move to Victoria Park Tranmere were the team trained. This oppertunity came from Tranmere Victoria Cricket Club who offered the use of the pavilion to use as changing rooms, and also the use of the bar facility's after the games, it was an offer that could not be refused! The four guys put this offer to the committee of Wallasey Rangers the committee decided they did not want to move from Wallasey and they decided to fold up the team, George, Eddie, David & Barry decided to take up the offer and move to the cricket club and start again from scratch.

And so season 1994/95 seen the birth of Victoria Colts Junior Football Club, the club was formed with one under 10's team. The team was made up of children who resided in the Rock Ferry & Tranmere area, after the first season the club were finding that more and more children from all over the wirral wantd to play for the club.

From one team the club has grown from strength to strength and we now have 13 teams ranging from under 7's to youth age, we have a committee, managers, & players who all work very hard for the good of the club, and they are all very proud and privileged to be involved with the club.

All four of the original members our still serving the club proudly; George is chairman, Eddie after a six-year stint as manager is now club secretary, Barry who was assistant manager with Eddie, became club secretary but at the end of season 1999/2000 decided to step down and is now a life member & David is still in the same position he has held since the club was formed that of club treasurer.

Our aims for the club is to have all managers & assistant managers to become fully qualified football coaches with F.A badges, and for the club to become the biggest and most succsesful club on the Wirral for many years to come. And for our sons who play for the club now to carry on the good work once we have all long gone.
