Under 12s Christmas Party 2009

This years Christmas Party took place at a wet and muddy venue as the boys sampled the delights of The Boys Army Party set within the grounds of Carr Farm Garden Center, Meols. The squad ws put through its paces army style before retiring to a more sedate climate were food and a disco were enjoyed at Tranmere Vics Cicket Club. The boys were pushed to the limits but to their great credit kept coming back for more and not once did they complain to their instructors but a few grumblings of " Dave what have you done to us" may have been heard on the day. That said the lads kept getting their press ups wrong so they could do ten more, ten more ,ten more and also the duck walk so they could start again. After much thought and deliberation Phil and Dave have decided against weekly training on the assault course but have decided to keep the drop and give me ten routine within our training regeime. The boys, we assume, had great fun being beasted army style but may have been put off the idea of becoming a soldier as a full time career.The fun out on the assault course and during target practice with the paintball guns was meant to bond the team and lift team spirit but Dave and Phil are a bit concerned about the number of players the side will have left once the transfer request come in after the party.

Once the boys had returned from the battlefield they retired to a more sedate setting and enjoyed an afternoon at the disco and a buffet was laid on by the parents. It was nice to see a few of the boys cutting a few smooth moves on the dance floor and it's obvious that we posses a few crooners amongst the ranks of the squad as the kareoke numbers were belted out by the boys. Once again can We,Phil and Dave thank you all for attending and say it was our pleasure to arrange the day for you all.
